Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT delivers acute hospital services from Ashton Under-Lyne as well as community health services for the borough of Tameside in Greater Manchester, and Glossop in Derbyshire.

 With an annual budget of around £290m and 4,150 staff support around a quarter of a million patients in Tameside, Glossop and from neighbouring Derbyshire.

Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust serves a population of 250,000 living over an area of around 40 square miles, across both rural and urban settings. The Trust employs 4,150 staff, has around 300 volunteers and has an annual turnover of £290 million.

It provides acute hospital services from the Tameside Hospital site at Ashton-under Lyne, including accident and emergency and urgent care, medical and surgical care both for inpatients and outpatients, diagnostic tests, maternity services, neonatal care, and paediatric services.

The Trust also provides community healthcare services, which are delivered in our intermediate care facility, 13 community premises throughout the
locality, as well as in patient’s homes. In addition, the Trust has in place network arrangements with other providers across GM to deliver appropriate specialist
services for our population.
